1. Purpose
This Policy explains how IVSA uses cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, and similar technologies on its website. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
2. Technologies currently used
Essential preference storage
The website uses the local-storage key ivsa_analytics_consent to remember whether a visitor accepted or rejected optional analytics. This storage is necessary to respect the visitor's choice and prevent repeated prompts. It stores a preference value, not a name or email address, and remains until cleared through browser controls or changed through the site's preference control.
Optional Google Analytics
If configured by IVSA and accepted by the visitor, Google Analytics may collect page paths, timestamps, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, referring information, and online identifiers. IVSA uses this information to understand aggregate website use and improve content.
Optional Meta Pixel
If configured and accepted, Meta Pixel may receive page-view and lead events, online identifiers, browser or device information, and limited form-category information. IVSA's implementation does not intentionally send the text entered into website forms to Meta Pixel.
Google Analytics and Meta Pixel remain disabled unless the visitor selects Accept analytics. Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent access to the website.
3. Categories
- Strictly necessary: security, network operation, session functionality, and storage of cookie choices. These cannot always be disabled through the website.
- Functional: optional features that remember non-essential preferences. IVSA will seek an appropriate choice before using these where required.
- Analytics: measurement of traffic and interactions. These are optional.
- Advertising or social-media measurement: technologies such as Meta Pixel that may support campaign measurement. These are optional and will not load before acceptance.
IVSA does not currently use optional analytics or advertising technologies before consent.
4. Consent and withdrawal
On the first relevant visit, the banner offers equally accessible options to accept analytics or reject optional technologies. A visitor may revisit preferences through the cookie-preference control or clear the ivsa_analytics_consent local-storage entry and reload the site.
Withdrawing consent prevents future optional tracking from the website after the preference is applied. It may not automatically delete information previously received by a provider; provider privacy controls may be used for that purpose.
5. Provider retention
Third-party retention depends on IVSA's provider configuration and the provider's policies. IVSA will configure retention proportionately and periodically review enabled technologies. Provider-specific cookies and lifetimes may change when their services update. Current provider information is available from Google and Meta, and IVSA will update this Policy when its implementation materially changes.
6. Browser controls
Most browsers allow users to view, block, or delete cookies and site storage. Blocking essential storage may cause the consent banner to reappear or affect site features. Browser extensions and device privacy settings may also limit tracking.
7. Changes
IVSA will not add a new non-essential category or materially expand tracking without updating this Policy and obtaining a fresh choice where required. The effective date identifies the current version.
